Greenwich Global College, mandated by the Sindh Technical Board, offers two years diploma in Hotel Operations with a focus on hospitality service management that leads to the equivalence of NVQF Level 5 / Intermediate. The diploma is designed according to market demand and will fill the education industry's central gap.

It is equivalent to inter and is recognized by Sindh Technical Board and Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).

Training Objectives:
The Diploma in Hotel Operations (DHO) has been designed to meet the needs of applicants considering entry into operational positions within the Hotel industry. This comprehensive program provides the students with a broad practical understanding of travel, tourism & hotel operations.

The Lodging & Food Service Industry I:
1. This course is designed to develop students into Lodging Consultants with operational skills to work for Lodging and Food Service industry.
2. Management of International Lodging.
3. Knowledge about food service industry

Food & Beverage Division I:
1. This course provides students with practical skills and knowledge for effective management of food service operations.
2. Emphasizing the importance of meeting the needs and, whenever possible, exceeding the expectations of guests.

Rooms Division I:
1. This course is recommended for beginners, studying Hospitality and Facilities Management. It is a handy knowledge which integrates theoretical and practical components.
2. The primary purpose of this course of studying hospitality course(s), the special care taken to keep the language simple, use figures and formats wherever possible.

Computer Fundamental:
1. Learn word, excel, and power point software.
2. Learn formal writing in email and other forums.

Research Project I:
1. Research project topic as per interest of students.

The Lodging & Food Service Industry II:
1. Understand the concept of lodging intermediaries, identify distribution network of Food Service Industry, determine the linkages with tourism principles.
2. Understand the lodging operations, determine the career opportunities in Food Service intermediary business.

Food & Beverage Division II:
1. Analysis of the functions of food and beverage marketing in the context of hospitality, events, and tourism.
2. Consider group sales, negotiations, contracts, computer applications and service methodologies.

Rooms Division II:
1. Key principles of room’s division management within the international hospitality industry.
2. Insights of dynamic hospitality sector and demonstrates to them the importance of this department as a major revenue generator with the lodging sector.
3. Develop operational and management knowledge of this key functional department.

Research Project II:
1. Conduct primary and secondary research.

The Diploma is offered into two majors (Hotel Operations, Tourism & Airport Operations) covering academic progression from Matriculation to Intermediate.

6. Fee paid on monthly basis will have additional charge of 10% on the invoice amount.

  • The program offers a focused pathway to university admission, it is specially designed for those challenged in the traditional or regular academic stream.

    GGC graduates will have excellent interpersonal communication skills, develop entrepreneurial projects after understanding the essentials of marketing, management, finance, and computational literacy/application.

    Pre-University Foundation Program has three levels

    Level-3 (L3), Level-4 (L4) and Level-5 (L5)

  • In this level there are six subjects which cover fundamentals of Business, Marketing, Management, Finance, and Computing along with Language Skills. Duration of the program is six months; however, a comprehensive examination may help students review their competency in the subjects and finish the term in less time.

    A written test and interview are required for placement in Level-3.

    Candidates may be allowed to take comprehensive examination or may have advanced placement in the next level.

  • Students passing this level will have knowledge of setting up of own business with all business plan, research, and development of the project. Communication skills, E-Commerce and foreign language will be taught along with personal development. All courses have theory and practical along with internship of six weeks. This is the transit module leading to Level 5 of PUFP.

  • The program prepares students to discover fabric, identify patterns, print and sewing methods and classify concepts of fundamental of design. Successful candidates will be able to develop textile/fashion product with creative analogy and become job creators and leaders.

  • The objective of the diploma is to train students in designing by using latest tools of textile designing and how to apply all printing techniques, natural dye, batik with embellishments on fabric as per deign. Successful students will be able to discover fabric and fabric construction and types of weaving and will be able to develop fine art product with creative analogy and become entrepreneur.

  • The objective of the Hotel Operations program is to provide training to students in hospitality, tourism, and entertainment industries for effective job performance. Successful candidates will be able to analyze the requirements of hospitality industry locally and internationally and will understand the management functions of tourism and hospitality industry including human resource management, financial management, marketing, and technology applications.

    Program Duration: 02 years (02 terms of 06 months in each year)

  • The objective of the program is to prepare quality human resource for travel industry. The successful candidates will be conversant in selling and communication skills and will have clear understanding of aircrafts, time zones elapsed flying times and transportation times, location of countries, ocean and seas and will be able to use latest travel apps and will be able to use guide customers on all matter of travel. They will be fully trained to use Computer Reservation System (CRS) will have full command on IATA by region, along with complete knowledge of all aviation organizations and geography of travel planning.

    Successful candidates will be able to develop tour packages, describe the touristic attraction and destinations locally and internationally and will be fully conversant to use Digital Technology in tourism and define steps of tourism product development.

    Once the student is accepted into any program, soft copy of the outline for each registered course is available in the Student Desk.

  • Yes. In case of weakness in English language which will be determined through Personal Statement, preparatory classes will be offered.

  • All the programs offered at GGC are equivalent to Intermediate/HSC and Inter Board Chairman Committee (IBCC) give equivalence certificate to the Pre-University Foundation and Diplomas Programs.

  • Successful candidates can join any public or private sector university in Pakistan or abroad.

    There is a dedicated quota for technical graduates in every Public Sector University of Pakistan.

  • The traditional mainstream curriculum runs courses which may be not of the interest of the student personally and career wise and only academic courses are offered, whereas the Pre-University Foundation and Diploma programs are towards centered towards practicability of the subject and hands on experience through internship and will help the student to become entrepreneur during studies.

  • There are three benefits over those students who for one reason are other have not been selected in the mainstream of studies at Matric and Intermediate level:
