Academic Programmes

GGC offers alternative and accelerated academic programmes designed to support progression from pre-secondary and secondary education to higher secondary completion, university readiness, and global career opportunities. Traditional academic routes often take up to five years from middle school to high school completion and usually restrict students to a few conventional streams. The Pre-University Foundation Programme introduces flexible pathways with more than fifteen specialised trades including entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, fashion design, tourism and hotel management, and culinary arts.

PUFP Level 3

PUFP Level 3 (Pre-Matric)

Pre-University Foundation Programme Level 3 serves as an entry-level preparatory pathway for students who require structured academic development before progressing to the Pre-University Foundation Programme Level 4. The programme strengthens fundamental knowledge, study habits, and analytical skills while introducing learners to practical and technology-enabled education. It is designed for students transitioning into alternative education systems and seeking a more flexible, skills-oriented approach to secondary learning.

PUFP Level 4

PUFP Level 4 (Matric)

Pre-University Foundation Programme Level 4 is aspecialised secondary-level pathway aligned with SSC / Matric equivalency and designed to provide an accelarated alternative to traditional secondary education routes. Students study core academic subjects alongside practical trade options, allowing them to develop both theoretical knowledge and applied skills. More than fifteen trades are available including entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, fashion design, tourism and hospitality management, and culinary arts.

PUFP Level 5

PUFP Level 5 (Intermediate)

Pre-University Foundation Programme Level 5 is a Skill-oriented and focused higher secondary-level programme designed to prepare students for university admission and professional advancement. The curriculum combines academic learning with specialised trade pathways that enable students to develop practical expertise while completing higher secondary education. Learners may choose from more than fifteen trades including entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, fashion design, tourism and hospitality management, and culinary arts.

GED

A US-Based, internationally recognised high school equivalency qualification for learners who wish to complete secondary education through an alternative academic pathway. It enables students to demonstrate competency in core academic areas while preparing for higher education and professional opportunities. GED graduates can pursue further studies locally or internationally with completion of institutional admission requirements and equivalency frameworks.

  • Greenwich Global College currently offers:

  • PUFP is an academic pathway designed to prepare students for higher education progression. The programme combines academic subjects with trade-based learning and practical exposure, enabling students to develop skills relevant to modern professions and entrepreneurship.

  • PUFP consists of three levels:

    PUFP Level 3 – Pre-Matric preparatory pathway
    PUFP Level 4 – Secondary level comparable to Matriculation (SSC)
    PUFP Level 5 – Higher secondary level comparable to Intermediate (HSSC)

  • Typical entry requirements include:

    • Middle School / Grade 8 pass
    • Minimum age approximately 12 years
    • Admission interview
    • Personal statement evaluation

  • Applicants may enter PUFP Level 4 through one of the following pathways:

    • Middle School / Grade 8 pass
    • Completion of PUFP Level 3
    • Partial SSC / Matric
    • Less than eight O-Levels

    Applicants normally complete an admissions interview and personal statement evaluation.

  • Applicants may enter PUFP Level 5 if they have:

    • Completed PUFP Level 4
    • Matric / SSC
    • Eight O-Levels with IBCC equivalency of SSC
    • Less than three A-Levels

    Admission includes interview and personal statement evaluation.

  • PUFP programmes are structured into academic terms:

    PUFP Level 3 – One term (6 months)
    PUFP Level 4 – Two terms (5 months each) plus examination period
    PUFP Level 5 – Two terms (5 months each) plus examination period

  • Students may select from more than fifteen trade pathways including entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, data sciences, fashion design, tourism, hospitality, culinary arts, and other career-focused areas. The default trade is entrepreneurship if a specific trade is not selected.

  • Yes. PUFP integrates project-based learning, simulations, and practical exposure into the academic structure. Internships and applied assignments help students develop real-world skills alongside academic knowledge.

  • Applications may be submitted online throughout the year. Candidates may reserve their seat for the upcoming academic term once the application process is completed.

    All fees are subject to revision by the College without prior notice.

  • Yes. Tuition fees may be paid in instalments subject to institutional policy. An instalment surcharge of 10% of the tuition fee may apply. Late payment surcharge may also apply according to policy.

  • The relevant Board of Technical Education (BTE) issues marksheets upon completion of examinations. These marksheets, along with verification from the respective BTE, may be submitted to IBCC for issuance of an equivalency certificate according to IBCC policies.

  • BTE charges include registration, examination enrollment, issuance of admit cards, examinations, issuance of marksheets, and marksheet verification charges. IBCC charges may also be included where applicable. These charges remain subject to revision according to BTE and IBCC policies.

  • Conditional recognition of prior learning may be granted following comprehensive academic assessment. Transfer from other institutions may be considered; however, eligibility depends on curriculum compatibility because PUFP differs significantly from traditional academic programmes.

  • Students obtaining IBCC equivalency may apply to universities in Pakistan or internationally subject to admission policies of the receiving institution. Programme trade selection may influence eligibility for certain specialised degrees.

  • English proficiency is preferred and may be assessed during the admission process. Where required, preparatory language support may be offered.

  • GED is an internationally recognised high school equivalency qualification available through GGC for eligible learners seeking an alternative pathway to higher education or employment.
